Οι πρώτες ύλες για την τήξη σιδηροχρωμίου με υψηλή περιεκτικότητα σε άνθρακα περιλαμβάνουν μετάλλευμα χρωμίου, οπτάνθρακα και πυρίτιο.
Cr2O3 Μεγαλύτερο ή ίσο με 40% σε μετάλλευμα χρωμίου, Cr2O3/∑FeO Μεγαλύτερο ή ίσο με 2,5, S<0.05%, P<0.07%, MgO and Al2O3 content cannot be too high, and the particle size is 10~70mm. If it is a refractory ore, the particle size should be appropriately smaller. Coke is required to contain fixed carbon of not less than 84%, ash content of less than 15%, S<0.6%, and particle size of 3 to 20 mm. Silica is required to contain SiO2≥97%, Al2O3≤1.0%, good thermal stability, no soil, and a particle size of 20~80mm.
